Francisco Caraza Samaniego


The firm's founding member, Mr. Francisco Caraza obtained his law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana (1977). He has participated in legislative initiatives related to industry; he is a board member of various Mexican and foreign corporations and has specialized in acting as general counsel, negotiator and independent consultant in the following areas of law and business: corporations, consortia, acquisitions, alliances, mergers and sale of every kind of companies and corporations, industry, financial restructuring, energy, tourism, anti-trust law, consolidations and trade regulations, foreign trade, government relations and foreign investment. fcaraza@cym.com.mx


Vicente Morayta Llano


The firm's founding member, Mr. Vicente Morayta obtained his law degree with honors from the Universidad Iberoamericana (1978), he majored in Tax Law at the Universidad Panamericana, and in International Tax Law at the University of Harvard and the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México; he has been assistant professor in Mercantile Law and Foreign Investment at the Universidad Iberoamericana; he has contributed articles to the Law School Journal at the Universidad Iberoamericana, he wrote the review of the book, Foreign Investment, the Legal Framework, written by Jorge Barrera Graf he is a member of the board of directors of Mexican and foreign companies; his professional career has been focused on corporate, tax law, public bids both in Mexico and abroad, public works contracts and the financing of infrastructure projects. vmorayta@cym.com.mx


Fernando Morayta Llano


A member of the firm, Mr. Fernando Morayta obtained his law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana (1981); he is the author of the thesis "Illegal Use of Trademarks"; he completed his postgraduate studies at Colorado State University (LL.M); he is a board member of various companies, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector; his professional career has been focused on corporate law, acquisitions, alliances, mergers and sale of every type of company and business, intellectual property, contracts, environmental and anti-trust laws, communications, government relations and foreign investment. fmorayta@cym.com.mx


Jorge Rivera Albarrán


A member of the firm, Mr. Jorge Rivera graduated with honors from the Universidad Nuevo Mundo (1992); he received a university diploma in Foreign Trade from the Universidad Iberoamericana; he completed his postgraduate studies in Tax Law at the Escuela Libre de Derecho; he received an university diploma in Finance and Accounting at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México; he is a member of the Mexican Bar Association; as attorney, he has specialized in the following areas: corporate, contracts, industry, tourism, environmental law, foreign trade, government relations, real estate and foreign investment. jriveraa@cym.com.mx


María Guillermina Flores Sánchez


Ms. Guillermina Flores graduated as attorney from the Universidad Iberoamericana (1980); she is the author of the thesis "Tax Incentives for Industrial Decentralization". She attended the Universidad de Estudios de Posgrado en Derecho, where she obtained diplomas in "Company Structures", "Corporate Law" and " Due Diligence ". She took part in the Corporate Law seminars with a speech on the subject of "Comparative Study of Mexican and North American Corporations". Paulina Alvarez Herrasti


Ms. Paulina Alvarez joined the firm in 2006, having obtained her law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana (2002).
